Amanatullah First Amended Petition

Declaration by Next Friend Abdul Razaq

May 16th, 2011, NEW YORK. Today IJN filed a First Amended Petition on behalf of Mr. Amanatullah, a Pakistani man who was illegally rendered to Afghanistan by British Forces in 2004. Though he has never taken up arms or supported hostilities against the United States or any of its allies in Afghanistan, Iraq, or any other country, Mr. Amanatullah has been detained in U.S. custody at Bagram Air Base without charge for more than seven years.
