Another Prosecutor Quits Guantanamo Tribunals

Another US military prosecutor at Guantanamo has resigned due to ethical concerns.  Lt. Col. Darrel Vandeveld alleges the prosecution suppressed evidence that could potentially prove the innocence of defendant Mohammed Jawad.  Colonel Vandeveld becomes at least the fourth prosecutor to quit the controversial Guantanamo tribunals.

It should be of serious concern to people who value justice for all that several military prosecutors have felt compelled to ruin thier careers and endure scorn from their colleagues in order to extricate themselves from the injustice at Guantanamo Bay.
