In American Gulag, Prisioners' Tales from the War on Terror , Eliza Griswold explores the experiences of detainees held at Guantanamo though first-hand accounts and the reports of Tina Foster and other attorneys. This article concentrates on Guantanamo, but mention of other prisons, most notably the one at Policharki in Afghanistan.  The article prophetically predicts the increase in detainee transfers to this facility.
